Mid Rivers Junior Golf League - 2011
Where: Mid Rivers Golf Course
When: Tuesdays & Wednesdays, June 7/8 through August 9/10
Play on Tuesday, Wednesday, OR both days.
Tee Times from 10:00 AM to 12:30 PM
Typically older juniors will tee off between 10:00 and 11:00
Younger juniors between 11:00 and 12:30
First week tee times will be selected at league meeting.
Ages: Boys and Girls ages 9 - 17.
Eligibility requirements include knowledge of golf rules.
Format:
Two-person scramble will be featured the first and last weeks.
Individual 9-hole stroke play is the format for weeks 2 through 9.
Four sets of tees will be used to support the abilities of different age groups.
Volunteers: We encourage parent participation.
Volunteers activity includes: event monitoring, accurate scoring support, and general assistance.
Cost: $40 one-time league entry fee,
and $14 greens fee for each round of golf.
League Meeting:
An introductory meeting will be held Sunday, 5 June at 5:00 PM
in the Mid Rivers Golf Links banquet center.
It will last 60 minutes and discuss league format and tee times assignments.
The Junior Golfers will be given a golf etiquette lesson on the course.
