Outings

Our facility is designed to offer a complete package: 6500-yard, 18 Hole Championship Golf Course with Zoysia tees and fairways; indoor and outdoor facility for 160 or more participants; a practice facility second to none; and Golf Discount Superstore fully stocked for your merchandise and prize requirements.

To Schedule an outing:
Our outing representatives can assist your organization with scheduling the outing, determining the format, creating rule sheets for your participants, selecting prizes and planning the food and beverage menu. Our staff can help you set up various contests such as “Closest to the Pin” and “Longest Drive” and “Longest Putt". The staff at Mid Rivers Golf Links wants to ensure that your experience at our facility is everything you imagined and more.

Outing Packages include:
• Golf Discount Store on the premises with guaranteed low prices
• All outing participants will receive a 10% discount on all merchandise in the Golf Discount Superstore on the day of the event (excluding some selected items)
• Personalized scorecards, score sheets, golf cart assignment cards, and scorekeeeper
• Scoring will be calculated by a professional staff member
• Personalized golf carts
• Customized rule sheets
• Special event contest holes
• Beverage carts will be staffed according to your needs
• Access to range, putting and chipping green
• Full use of locker room
• Outside service assistance

• Donated Rounds of Golf to be used as prizes

Mid Rivers Golf Links Greens Fees
Tournament Greens Fees on Monday thru Friday are $36.00 per player.
Tournament Greens fees on Saturday, Sunday, and Holidays are $48.00 per player.

The Greens Fees include opening fees, guest fees, golf cart, use of locker room facilities, practice putting green, sponsorship sign placement and removal, all tournament services, preparation of scorecards, cart assignment tags, score sheets, and scoring.

Golf Carts
Golf Carts are mandatory for all outings and are included in the guest fee.
For all shotgun events, up to 72 golf carts are available. Additional fees may be incurred if more carts are required.

Playing Formats
In the interest of speeding up play, all formats must be approved by the Mid Rivers Golf Links Tournament Director. It is recommended that Scramble or some sort of Selective Drive Format be used. The 2-Putt Rule is required for all groups over 60 players.

Prizes
Mid Rivers golf links will be happy to donate some rounds of golf based on the number of participants you have in the outing. See the tournament director on day of the event to received donated rounds of golf to be used as prizes.

Outings will also receive significant discounts in the Golf Discount Superstore when purchasing prizes. See Tournament Director before purchasing prizes.

Don’t forget about door prizes and attendance gifts. Golf Discount Superstore also offers logo and promotional products. Make your outing special with custom logo’d merchandise. For more details contact Ruth Heinle at 1-800-452-4576. Allow 6-8 weeks following our receipt of the artwork.

Golf Shoes
Mid Rivers Golf Links is a Soft Spike Facility. If you do not have soft spikes, we will change your spikes in the Golf Discount Store for a fee of $10.00 per pair. This charge can be billed to the tournament or paid by the golfers individually.
Please notify your guests so that they allow extra time for this service if they do not have soft spikes.

Rental Clubs
Rental Clubs are available at a price of $25 per set.
Notification of the number of sets is required in advance.

Range/Practice Balls
Balls for the practice range are $50.00 per barrel. (Barrel holds approximately 1200 range balls)
Range balls will be placed on the range one (1) hour prior to start unless otherwise instructed.

Dress Code
Proper golf attire is required on the course and in the clubhouse.
Swimsuits, cut-off shorts, and tank tops are not acceptable.
Men must wear shirts with sleeves. Mid Rivers is exclusively a “soft spike” facility.

Food / Beverage Services
All outings requiring food services, either lunch or dinner, should submit their menu selections to the Tournament Director no later than two (2) weeks prior to the scheduled event.
Beverage services must also be coordinated with the Tournament Director.
